Jack's Wishing Machine

I'm addicted to Facebook.  Thanks Linda.  Now she's convinced me to start a blog.  Yep - Linda has it in for me.

At any rate, the first few posts will be my favorite notes from Facebook to save for posterity.  Here's the first:

Jack's Wishing Machine

Jack has already decided what he's going to ask for Christmas next year (2009).  He is going to ask for a wish.  His wish will be for a wish factory.  That way he can have all the wishes he wants.  The first wish will be to have a lab.  The lab will have a lock "on the side of the door" where you have to enter a secret code.  The lab will also have a dragon cave outfitted with a large fireplace.

His second wish will be for a time machine. I have pinky-sweared to go with him in the time machine, and we will go back to the time of dragons and get a dragon egg.  He will bring his dragon book with him ("Dragonology"), so that he knows which dragon egg to get.

His third wish will be to be a really great sword fighter and shield holder, and to have a "master sword and shield from Zelda."  That way he can fight the mommy and daddy dragons for the dragon egg.  Once we get back to the present with the dragon egg, we will keep the egg in the dragon cave fireplace for three years as prescribed by "Dragonology."  He wants to go to timemachine.com and dragons. com to do some more research.

Since he has come up with this genius idea of a wish machine, he has thought up many more uses for it.  I can't remember all the uses he's com up with so far (ergo, the reason for this blog...see how much I've already forgotten), but as he comes up with more uses, I'll add them here.  I DO NOT know how I'm going to break it to him that there is no such thing as a wish machine....

Quintessentially yours,
Kristin
